With the continuing interest in the Victorian era the contributors themselves - over 600 of them - are now of as much importance as the subjects they wrote about. This is the first guide to the contributors: authors, academics, recognized authorities on their subjects, and, in many cases, young writers making their first appearance in print. This index lists contributors and their articles alphabetically, giving names, dates, DNB volume number, and page reference. Unsigned articles are listed separately.
