Edited by Gustav Mori with an introduction by Dr. Robert Diehl. The loose plates include type specimens - several of which were produced by Johann Erasmus Luther in Frankfurt, calligraphy, decorative borders, and many Fraktur specimens. The largest plate, a tri-fold, is Tafel 14: an Antiqua type from Luther's printing press with beautiful decorations. Each plate is unique and has the plate number with the description, including date of original printing and the press that printed it, on the front.
