The spine of the second volume is damaged and the wrappers are almost detached. Inside, the leaves have darkened with age. A loosely laid-in plate indicates that this copy came from the reference library and stock of H. P. Kraus. In the second volume are scattered notations (mostly in the margins), and the final three leaves (advertising items available from Harrassowitz but not part of the Milkau collection) are fragile and partly torn, with some loss.
