Sir Sydney Waterlow, first baronet, (1822-1906) was the lord mayor of London (1872-3) and a philanthropist. His membership in the Stationers' Company began in 1847 and was named the Master in 1872-3. He is also the namesake for Waterlow park at Highgate, where his statue stands. He presented these grounds to St. Bartholomew's Hospital in 1872 for its use as a convalescent home. Caricature-like illustration is in color . Tears and wrinkled along top.
