Carl Elberling's classic volume, "Letters from a Book-Lover," is reprinted here in celebration of Hans Bagger's 60th birthday. Bagger was a Danish bookseller and president of the International League of Antiquarian Booksellers. Elberling's eight letters are thoroughly illustrated in black-and-white and include many pictures of bookbindings.
