The first 21 annual issues of the Czech periodical "Strahovksa Knihovna" bound together as issued in 15 volumes. The first nine issues (1966-74) are bound annually while the last twelve issues (1975-86) are bound every two years. This magazine is the annual of the Museum of Czech Literature and contains a bibliography of the new works added to the library each year, along with articles pertaining to the more important additions. Also included are reproductions of plates and facsimiles of letters from the works discussed in the articles. The first nine issues all include serialized portions of an uncut, and unopened copy of Karel Chyba's "Dictionary of Book Printers in Czechoslovakia since the Earliest Times to the year 1860." The bibliography and general text are in Czech with some of the articles also translated into German, English, and French. Authors and editors vary. Wrappers and dust jackets slightly faded and worn.
