Each bibliography lists general primary and secondary sources, and primary and secondary sources (as available) for each author. Primary works for poets are usually first appearances of collections; secondary works vary. For ex., the entry for Langston Hughes contains almost two pages of Hughes' works, almost a page of "bibliographies," and over two pages of "biography and criticism." Entries for dramatists include published and unpublished plays as primary works, and various secondary material. With indexes for authors/editors/translators, titles, and subjects.
