Limited to 40 sets, of which this is one of 26 regular numbered sets signed by Bonnefoy, Brendel, and Simic, with thirteen etchings (including the title-page) signed by the artist George Nama. In fine condition.
The poems are "Four new selections from "Disorder"" by Yves Bonnefoy, "Ode" by Alfred Brendel, and "Aunt Dinah Sailed to China," "One Wing of the Museum," "Crickets," and "Eternitys Orphans" by Charles Simic.
Winner of the 1990 Pulitzer Prize in poetry and U.S. Poet Laureate for 2007-08, Charles Simic (1938-2023) wrote moving, surrealistic poetry often based on his own experiences, particularly his traumatic childhood in what was then Yugoslavia.

This portfolio is a collaboration consisting of twelve etchings printed on Arches Velin paper to accompany twelve poems. The text is set in Linotype and foundry Garamond and printed by Darrel Hyder, The Sun Hill Press, North Brookfield, Massachusetts. Bindings were made by Jim DiMarcantonio, Hope Bindery, Providence, Rhode Island.
