"A beautiful collection of very rare and special historical paste papers. Over the centuries, numerous decorative paper techniques emerged in various cultures. Many techniques were lost, but two have survived to this day: marbled paper and paste paper. The fact that these techniques are applied without the use of special machinery, the production steps are rapid, manual production allows for an unlimited number of patterns, and the products of both techniques can be used particularly in book art has kept both techniques alive." -Nedim Sönmez.
