"A beautiful collection of very rare and special historical spanish marbled papers. In the production of decorated paper the last century counts as the most successful to date. More and more types of decorated paper always with new names flooded the market. Within a short space of time a great number of different kinds of decorated paper became fashionable and established their own markets. These papers were not only used by bookbinders and cardboard mills. One of the most beautiful patterns in marbling is the wave pattern. This pattern is named Spanish, English, or moiremarmor according to the shape of the wave formed on the paper surface." -Nedim Sönmez.
