First editions. Minor soiling to the covers, wear along the corners of the large bibliography, internally a near fine set.

Contains a bibliography of the primary works, different editions, Baconiana, editions not found, portraits of Bacon and an index to printers and publishers. Very scarce with supplement which was issued in 1959 and was privately printed and is a reproduction of a typescript as issued and bound to match first volume.
