"This novel, through the immense chimera of daily misunderstandings, the pranks of a falsely understanding society, through restrained modesty and moving evocations, gives us the intimacy of a homosexual couple , the joys and difficulties of fatherhood exercised together, the renewed tenderness of happily beneficial and original loves."
