One of 300 copies on paper of an edition of 315 copies (Tidcombe, DP13). Very minor bumped corners to the head of the spine and the top corner of the front board. Discoloration to the very bottom edge of the rear board. Glue marks / reminisce of a bookplate which has been removed. Else a fine copy in a fine (later) slipcase

This printing of Sartor Resartus was to honour Carlyle's importance to the printer. Along with Ruskin, Emerson and Milton, Carlyle was a great influence on the formation of Cobden-Sanderson's thoughts and beliefs.
