Oak Knoll

Limited edition of 28 numbered copies, containing six unique pieces, marbled in three stages on Arches Aquarelle: 100% cotton, mouldmade, watermarked paper. The original run, which is thus, was going to be marbled calligraphy on suminagashi paper. However, the suminagashi paper was used for a different project early on in the production of this book so only six copies had this 'third' stage present. Six original samples of marbled calligraphies based on six famous calligraphies of Turkish calligraphers from six centuries - 15th through 20th. Each is 8 x 12 inches. All calligraphies signed by hand.
