First separate printing of the fullest and most up-to-date study of this early Ulm, Germany, printer, Johann Zainer and his press. Johann Zainer (1472-1493) established the first printing press in Ulm during the last quarter of the 15th century where his press printed over 150 editions. He eventually became one of the most important printers of the 15th-century. The book became one of the most widely circulated theological works of its time.
