The first volume is limited to 165 copies. 88 pressmarks are reprinted in color here by James Lamar Weygand along with a brief note about each press. Mr. Weygand has concerntrated on presses "not in Ransom" with the result that much of his information is not readily accessable elsewhere. The printing, as is always with this press, is impeccable. This copy comes from the library of Will Lockwood, proprietor of the Creeekside Press, and has his bookplate and the clipped mailing label from Weygand addressed to him. This press is described on page 23 of this book. The second volume is limited to 250 copies (The Private Press of the Indiana Kid 1944-1994 #17). Title page and cover pressmark drawing by Adele Kersten. Color illustrations of 93 printers' marks from private presses, with a paragraph about each. This volume also has Lockwood's bookplate.
