An index of all the patents that had been filed on machinery to make boxes to be used for filing papers and documents, filing cards, cash registers, etc. Many diagrams, uniform brown cloth, spines lettered gilt; ex-Middlesborough Public Libraries with shelf marks gilt on spine, blind stamp on upper covers, book-label and the occasional stamp but an extremely sound, clean and well-preserved copy.
