Limited to 170 copies, of whicht his is one of 144 numbered copies bound thus. A fine copy in fine slipcase. The book was designed and printed by Neil Shaver at the Yellow Barn Press is Council Bluffs, Iowa. The press-work was done on a Vandercook Universal III during May, June, and July of 1993. The text setting is 12 point California by M&M Type. Pat Taylor did a special setting of Deepdene type for the reproduction on page 43. Jerry Kelly did the calligraphy for the title page. Claire Maziarczyk created the paste paper for the binding and the binding was done at the Campbell Logan Bindery. The book was printed on dampened Rives Heavy white. Most of the engravings used in reproducing the art work are from the collection of The New York Public Library. The engravings on pages 17, 27, and 31 were not available and were reproduced with new engravings. A history - bibliography with illustrations throughout. With recollections by Ken Botnick and Steve Miller.
