This set comprises the best study done of Sir Thomas Phillipps, probably the world's best known collector. The set has proven to be very difficult to assemble in its entirety, especially in dust jackets. Spines of the jackets of all five volumes are faded in varying degree, with volume IV and V having minor dampstaining to the spines. Else a near fine set.
