Translated out of Greek into French by James Amyot and out of French into English by Thomas North. The Text being Prepared for This Edition by Roland Baughman with an Introduction for this Edition by Emil Ludwig. Designed by W.A. Dwiggins and signed by him in the colophon. With decorative double page title pages with designs in color by Dwiggins and headings printed in black and white. (Agner no.41-18). Only one slipcase available for volumes I-IV, with the other slipcase for volumes V-VIII missing. Slipcase cracked around edges and only in fair condition. Spines of books sunned.
