Le Long (1665-1721) was the librarian at the Oratory of St. Honor' in Paris. In his main work " Bibliotheca sacra " Le Long deals with the editions and translations of the Bible and its most important manuscripts, compiled an index of the dictionaries and exegetical works useful for Bible studies.
