Order Nr. 136138

Very scarce pamphlet reciting the talk by Charles Peignot on French Typography, with type specimen illustrations. Probably only about 120 copies issued. An unusually large format for a Double Crown Club publication. The pamphlet of type specimens - printed by the Cambridge University Press - shows 20th Century work by Naudin, Carlegle, Girard, the Peignots, Maximilien Vox, Cassandre, Arnoux and Victor Hammer. Near fine. From the private reference library of Dorothy Sloan with a commemorative bookplate loosely inserted.
