Text in Dutch and English. Limited to 500 copies, of which this is one of the unbound and uncut copies of the revised and enlarged edition. This copy is bound in a full artist-binding by Monique Lallier, award-winning bookbinder from Greensboro, NC. The binding is a full crushed brown moracco with onlaid decorated leather panels on both the front and rear covers. The title is stamped in gilt on the front cover, along with gilt tooling on the front and rear covers. Handmade headbands. Marbled pastedowns and endpapers. Binder's name stamped on rear pastedown. The book is housed in a cloth clamshell box with a leather spine label, and the title and author are stamped in gilt.

Translated from the Dutch by Harry Lake. Table of contents, preface, introduction, codicological and critical notes, index. A facsimile reproduction of De Bray's 1658 manuscript, considered the earliest Dutch bookbinding text, with modern Dutch and English text.
