Published on the centennary of Carroll's birth. Alice Liddell Hargreaves was the "original Alice" for whom Carroll wrote the book. Introduction to Alice's Adventures by Henry Seidel Canby. This particular copy belonged to the famed art collector Mary Livingston Griggs, whos name is stamped in gilt on the front board.
