Text in German. Crell's Chemische Annalen, February 11, 1789. This is the first printed announcement of the purported discovery of uranium. Although the verity of this discovery of uranium was later successfully challenged, this work retains importance of part of the process of the ultimately discovery of that element. Nonetheless, Martin Heinrich Klaproth (1743-1817) did reduce by reduction urantrioxide, It was not until 1841 that the French chemist Eugène Peliogt established the pure element of uranium. Fine condition.
