A fascinating true account of love, villany, abduction and rape in eighteenth century England. The editor unearthed the unpublished manuscript of this testament during a move. Intrigued by the fact it was addressed to his great-great-great-grandfather he began to research and check the authenticity of the bizarre story it told. The introduction explains his search and fills in the names of the characters the testament tries to hide. A well printed, nicely produced book.
