This volume contains 1, 2, 3, 4 (just front and back covers), 8 (just front and back covers), 10, 11, and 12 (just front and back covers). Title page notes the society's location at 150 Nassau Street (1833-93), and Fanshaw published the society's works until 1846. A collection of moral and religious stories directed toward children. Illustrations throughout, some color. Previous owner's bookplate on front free endpaper. Boards worn and scuffed around edges. Endpapers and text stained and foxed. Note indicating the book was in the same family for three generations laid in.
