An Act of Parliament for "Incorporating the Executors of the Last Will and Testament of Thomas Guy, late of the City of London,, Esq.; Deceased, and others, in Order to the better Management and Disposition of the Charaties given by his Said Last Will." Passed at the Parliament begun on October 9, 1724 and continued through November 12, 1724. Guy was a London bookseller, speculator, and founder of Guy's Hospital, London. The purpose of the act was to provide for the more efficient execution of the charitable provisions of Guy's will.
