First edition, limited to 1050 copies designed by Jerry Kelly and Hermann Zapf. This is one of the 20 special copies signed by Zapf and the binder, Judi Conant and containing a separate portfolio of specimens from publications designed by Zapf for letterpress printing. The separate portfolio contains a four page brochure describing the contents followed by the loose specimens. There is a special limitation page filled out by hand with the name of the recipient and signed by Zapf and Conant. Describes 85 specimens of type and calligraphy fully reproduced in color and followed by descriptive text. Introduction by Jerry Kelly followed by a biographical sketch of Zapf.
