This exhibition which was held in New York from April 11 to June 28, 2008, invited artists, who in turn invited additional participants, to submit work via the postal service, thus creating a network of communication that reflected the complex and varied meaning of the book, mapping, and social networking in the 21st century. The resulting exhibition was a visual explosion of work by over 200 artists. The catalogue features an extensive timeline dating back to the early 20th century.
