Twelve broadsides, each representing the work of an individual poet who gave a reading at the Center for Book Arts in New York, are enclosed in an artistic portfolio that not only provides protection but also appeals to the eye. As part of the Broadside Reading Series, each author creates a broadside of one of their poems that captures the essence of the verse and the story they are telling. Includes works by Tony Hoagland, Trapeta B. Mayson, Renee Gladman, Kenneth Hart, Eugene Ostashevsky, Mary DiLucia, Linda Susan Jackson, Tsitsi Jaji, Rachel Levitsky, Phillis Levin, Joe Elliot and Jeanne Marie Beaumont. Produced in a signed limited edition of 100, the broadsides are reserved for the yearly portfolios. The 2004 portfolio is covered in paper printed with a dotted swirled texture with a quarter ivory cloth spine and brown cotton ties.
