Removed from the Burlington Magazine for Connoisseurs, Illustrated & Published Monthly, Volume XV--April to September 1909, London, for which there is a title page bound in at the end, as well as an alphabetical list of contributors to Vol. XV. An essay on engravings. Contains 16 black-and-white plates. Part I--Methods and Minutiae. Part II--States in Actual Life. Bound in between Parts I and II are two letters to the editor. Minor wear. With the bookplate and pencil signature of Gavin Bridson. Bridson crossed out almost all sections not pertaining to the subject with a diagonal upward stroke in red ink.
