The title page also contains the beginning of the Book of Job, and is printed in a single column. The remaining text is printed in two columns. The frontispiece is a full-page multi-color wood engraving by Valenti Angelo, and signed by him. The double-page spread comprising the engraving and the title/first page form a beautiful, balanced image. This copy has been rebacked with a new leather spine and leather corners and red leather spine label. Scarce book.
