Printed for The Gravesend Press by Ludwig Oehms at Frankfurt am Main in an edition limited to 500 numbered copies, signed by Fritz Kredel (1900-1973). Designed by Gotthard de Beauclair. The drawings have been colored by hand through stencils by Schauer & Silvar at Darmstadt. "Fritz Kredel has never let the exacting requirements of his craft interfere with his engaging interest in puppets and dolls. These little drawings (here reproduced on copper in their exact size) are a labor of love" (from the preface by Joseph C. Graves). Christmas keepsake card with a color woodcut by Fritz Kredel of The Coast of Arms of the Gravesend Press loosely inserted. Also loosely inserted is a four page prospectus to this book printed by Gravesend and mailed by Chiswick Book Shop.

The four plates, 10.25 x 8 inches, are larger versions of the four illustrations in the book of Clymer's Columbian, the Press of John Wells, The Smith and the Acorn Frame and Rust's Washington. Published in a limited edition of 140 numbered copies. Imprinted from an early and unidentified edition in the Margaret I. King Library at the University of Kentucky. Set in 18 point Caslon Oldstyle (Stephenson & Blake). Seven line cuts reproduced from old engravings printed with the text. Hosho paper. Cased in boards covered with marbled paper, linen spine with printed label (binding of edition varies). This is considered to be the first work of the King Library Press and is the only time the High Noon Press imprint was used. Victor Hammer does not appear to have been involved with this particular endeavor.

Limited to an edition of 150. A collection of 49 tributes initiated by Charles Antin and printed by various private presses on the occasion of Alfred A. Knopf's fiftieth year as a book publisher. The contributors are listed on a separately printed four page brochure. Contributors include the Allen Press, Pratt Institute, Adagio Press, Herman Zapf, Mohawk Press, Book-of-the-Month Club, Cummington Press, Stinehour Press, and more. Tribute pamphlets include short essays and lectures, reproductions of Knopf's publications, pieces written by press owners in honor of Knopf, a cookbook, and many other lovely examples of fine press printing. Most are printed in multiple colors and include illustrations and/or decorations. Individual tributes contained in purple paper-covered slip case with paper label running across spine from front to back board. Enclosed in this copy is a T.L.s. from the editior, Charles Antin to Oscar Ogg meant to accompany this copy. Lacks the contribution by Muir Dawson and Saul Marks, the contribution by Herbert Bayer and the separate title leaf.
