McKerrow. 1910. (2) 1641-1667, by H.R. Plomer. 1907. (3) 1608-1725, by H.R. Plomer. 1922. The organization of the dictionary is alphabetical by subject. Dates for publishing activity are provided, as are associations with other printers and publishers, such as employment history and apprenticeship. The Dictionary also provides short biographical sketches based on available information. Contains circa 3000 individuals active in the trade during the period.
