  Newton, A. Edward THE HISTORY OF MOSES. BY ROBERT LOUIS STEVENSON.
Daylesford, Pa. Privately printed 1919 tall 12mo. blue paper wrappers, cord-tied, original mailing envelope address by Bartell and with the return postage of The Cutter Co. (iv), 10 pages with colored frontispiece.
Stevenson, as a child of six, dedicated this 'Story of the History of Moses,' to his mother. Newton purchased this manuscript in an Anderson sale of November 24, 1914, lot 294. This booklet is the first appearance in print of this early piece. Colored frontispiece. Inscribed "Mr. H.N. Bartlet with the compliments of A. Edward Newton, Feb. , 1920."
