(Blogie 442) The exteriors of this set show minor soiling and wear, including chipping of the tail of each spine and loss of a bit of the lower fore-edge corner of volume 3. Inside, the leaves have darkened and become fragile at the edges, resulting in the loss of the tips of several corners in volume 3 and at least one marginal closed tear. The text is intact. A loosely laid-in plate indicates that this set came from the reference library and stock of H. P. Kraus. A prospectus for the book Didymaby Theodor Wiegand and Hubert Knackfuss is also loosely laid-in.
