Little is said about the actual form of the publications; presumably most are of the photocopied-card-catalogue-card variety. The introduction discusses different types of catalogues and the probable effects of computer technology (with the necessity of standardization), concluding that "variety of Catalogues that resulted from the great philosophical debates of the ninteenth century will be unlikely to survive the new technology..." p.xvi.
