Hand bound by Don and Pam Rush in an edition limited to 110 copies, of which this one is out of series. The printing on mould made Rives Lightweight paper was accomplished with a Vandercook No. 4 press. The wrapper folds completely around the book creating a flap from the left. Foreword by Brother Daniel Burke. Thomas Berry, then an American GI, was given this manuscript by Shewring. Berry later worked with John Anderson and offered him the manuscript for printing., but Pickering Press never completed the book. " In 1986, Anderson suggested The Press of Appletree Alley undertake the project. This we have done, printing exactly as the manuscript was written."

Loosely inserted is a T.L.s. from Barney Taylor transferring three of the five copies of this book to Michael McCurdy in payment for his wood engraving.

Hundreds of handset ornaments printed using gold thermography, and many hand-modified and carved ornaments and decorative capitals. Set in 16pt Lucretia Italic, and utilizes many swash characters available only in metal. Open caps are hand-carved Caslon, modified with a graver. Dolphins are a new cutting based loosely on an ornament designed by Bruce Rogers. Account of 19th century nautical adventures.

First edition, limited to 165 numbered copies, this being one of the copies bound in quarter leather rather than cloth. With an introduction by Clark Kimball of The Great Southwest Books, Santa Fe. History of the Seton Village Press from its foundation in 1938 until it closed five years later. During that time, the owner, Ernest Thompson Seton, with the aid of his wife and Maurice and Marceil Taylor had produced twenty titles, of which fifteen were printed and set entirely by hand. Each title receives a through description and is illustrated throughout by black and white photographs and line drawings reproduced from Seton editions. Signed on colophon page by both Taylors. Prospectus loosely inserted.
