Volume 26 No. 1 (Jan 1947) to Volume 26 No. 11 (Dec. 1947) and Volume 27, No. 1 (Jan 1948) to Volume 27, No. 12 (Dec. 1948). Percy Jones (Twinlock) Ltd was the major supplier of hand bound loose leaf ledgers to the Stationery & Printing trade for approximately the first seventy years of the twentieth century. This also involved the production of millions of ruled and printed sheets for those ledgers. Twinlock News was issued monthly to all its customers to inform and entertain. Volumes 26 & 27 highlight the problems of paper shortages after the second world war. They contain photos of product changes and binding methods; articles on issues of the day; and whimsical editorials; all of which encapsulate a style of marketing that has gone forever.
