Sallander, Hans
Two volumes bound in one.
First edition. Complied by Hans Sallander with preface by Tonnes Kleberg. A bibliography of Dr. Waller's extensive collection of over 20,000 books relating to medicine and science, now a part of the library at the Royal University of Uppsala. The first volume consists mainly of old medical literature; the second volume lists literature pertaining to the natural sciences, the history of medicine and science, biography, and bibliography, and another section which comprises books on other subjects. Includes two sections of plates which illustrate some of the books. Bound into the front of this volume is a 74 page pamphlet entitled "The Bibliotheca Walleriana in the Uppsala University Libray" which is authored by Sallander and dated 1951. With the pencil signature of Gavin Bridson.

Limited to 60 copies. Poems illustrated with two colorful silkscreens by Bracaval. Signed by the poet and illustrator. The heavy handmade paper wrapper is untrimmed at the lower edge. Bracaval has been awarded many prizes through nearly four decades beginning with the Prix Lafont in 1967 and most recently the Prix Robert Beltz in 2002. His works are continually exhibited and are held in such public collections as the Centre George Pompidou, British Library, and the Boston Athenaeum.
