Limited to 210 copies of which this is one of ten large paper copies, this being number two (Larned 1032, not in Howes). With three facsimiles of Indian deeds of 1638 to Wheelwright as frontispieces. This publication is an attempt of a biography of the Reverend John Wheelwright with a memoir, an examination of the deed, a bibliography, Wheelwrights Fast-day sermon of 1637, a reprint of Mercurius Americanus and the will of John Wheelwright. List of Prince Society members and an index. Loosely inserted in this copy is the original sales receipt issued by The Prince Society dated 1876 and made out to Capt. Wm. Prince of Springfield for $7.25. The volume is in sheets, mostly detached, the front wrapper is missing, the back wrapper is creased and soiled. Some staining to the bottom edge of the first several groups of sheets. Chipping to the edges. Mostly uncut.
