RAFINESQUE, A SKETCH OF HIS LIFE WITH BIBLIOGRAPHY.
by Fitzpatrick, T.J.

First edition. This very scarce volume was authored by Thomas Jefferson Fitzpatrick, descendent of Thomas Jefferson, 3rd President of the United States. Besides the bibliography and the sketch of Constantine Samuel Rafinesque, this volume contains a bibliography of one hundred and thirty-nine books which frequently refer to Rafinesque, and information on portraits of Rafinesque. Contains a total of 30 plates of illustrations. An earlier version of Fitzpatrick's bibliographical work on Rafinesque loosely inserted. Covers rubbed.
