A TOURIST IN SPITE OF HIMSELF.
by Newton, A. Edward

First edition, one of 525 signed and numbered large paper copies. Identical with the first impression with the following exceptions: The title page has the additional information that this is the limited edition; the copyright page indicates that this is the limited edition; a leaf has been added which contains a two page essay entitled "Why Autographed Editions?" with the limitation notice stating that this is one of 525 numbered and signed copies; pages 253 and 254 are blank; blank pages at the end have been eliminated; an additional plate has been added after the limitation notice titled "When my Ship Comes In" which is not noted in the list of illustrations. Presentation from Newton "My dear Bart. You know what Abraham Lincoln said: Anyone who likes this kind of a book will find it just the kind of a book he likes. A. Edward Newton, 29 May 1935." With the leather bookplate of Barton Currie. Nice association. Slipcase faded and tape repaired.
