First edition. The first volume contains a history of this library which was established in the 17th century. A Supplement (Volume IV), comprising additions 1914-1924, was issued in 1925. Circular red library stamp of the Bibliothèque Andre Mater on each title-page; minor wear to head and tails of spine, contents good and bright.
