Printed in an edition limited to 515 copies of which this is one of 500 copies printed on paper. (Cockerel 23, Peterson A23, Walsdorf 23). A note which appeared in the announcement of this book stated "This tale dates from about the same period as that of KING FLORUS, and its literary & historical value is equally high." With a beautiful woodcut as the spread title page, woodcut initial letters and printing in red and black. Some wear at spine ends. Nicely preserved copy.
