Lawrence Clark Powell, who died at the age of 94, was best known as the UCLA Librarian from 1944-1961 and the author of 50 books. He also wrote a semi-autobiographical account of his courtship with his wife, Eucalyptus Fair, which he agreed not to publish until after her death in 1992. Illustrated with fourteen photographs.
