FIRST EDITIONS OF AMERICAN AUTHORS; A MANUAL FOR BOOK LOV...
by Stone, Herbert Stuart

First edition of this scarce book; Stone and Kimball's second book preceded only by a unique copy of an advertising booklet for the Chicago World's Fair. This is one of 50 numbered large paper copies signed by the publisher (BAL no.5756 for Eugene Field). In this copy a pound sign is written in red instead of a number. Covers are rubbed with wear along edges and hinges and a crease mark on spine. Front inside hinge cracked.
