Text in Spanish. S-K 2022. First edition, one of 100 numbered copies. A scarce history of bookbinding in Spain from the 12th to the 19th century. Some of the 61 full-page plates of bindings are in color; each is protected by a tissue guard. Each of the color plates are tipped-in. These special copies are printed on much better paper and the volume is 50% thicker than the trade edition. The jacket is chipped with small tears.
