In 1949, the State of New York "Freedom Train" toured the state bearing original documents, mostly pertaining to NY, which could be viewed at various stops. This book contains facsimile reproductions of 100+ pages from 80 of those documents, arranged by general topic ("government by the people," "freedom of religion" etc.). Sepia-tinted. Covers rubbed along hinges.
